Last night Basic Physics announced that his upcoming EP titled Light Me Up has transformed into his next album. This is great news considering his past 2 free albums were absolute jams. Now that the EP; Light Me Up has turned into an album, Basic Physics had to push back the release date to June 21st. To satisfy all 15K fans following him on FaceBook he has given us a preview as to what we should expect from his upcoming album. The track "Summer Weekends" features 5 great standalone tracks by Zedd, Ne-Yo, Taio Cruz, Eva Simons, and Juventa to make one epic summer night party mix.

The most deserving rapper in the game right now.

With XV's upcoming mixtape; Popular Culture on the rise (June 15th) we have been seeing a new track from Vizzy almost every other day. This track #OccupyMusic ft. Raja did not make it onto the final lineup for the mixtape, which I am happy about. (Nothing makes me more angry than downloading a new mixtape only to find out that all the tracks were previously available)

With Popular Culture being XV's 18th mixtape, I am willing to bet that this mixtape will be his best yet. The mixtape is being used to generate some noise for XV's upcoming debut album TKWTGB (The Kid With The Green Backpack). XV has said that this mixtape is all the music that could not get cleared for the his upcoming album...meaning there will be some samples that we all know and love. I know for sure I will be purchasing this album in the future because there is no other rapper out there (in my own opinion) who cares more about his fans than XV. But before then I will be blasting Popular Culture through my headphones.

Great Dubstep: "Bullseye" by KDrew

Here is a sick dubstep track that will have all you bass heads wanting more. This track by KDrew is madd catchy with perfectly placed synths and a piano rift that is just sexy. (Sorry for got we were talking about a song). "Bullseye" has all the elements for a great dubstep track. Obviously you need to have the hard whoomps and this tracks has some intense blood pumping sections that makes you just want to fight someone. So turn that anger around and use this track for some weight lifting (Yup this track is useful for all you juice heads too)

I realized I just posted a Viceroy remix but I feel that this track also needs to be shared with the masses. This time Viceroy takes up Wiz Khalifa's track "This Plane. Viceroy stays true to the original track by keeping the vocals the same but his remix with the instrumentals is just amazing. I like the original track, but I think I am in love with this remix. Once again, leave it to Viceroy for all your summertime feel tracks. Enjoy.

Regardless if you love or hate indie music, this track is for you. The duo from New York; Manicanparty just released their first track off their Soundcloud called "Rebels in the Light" and it is amazing. I see big things coming from Jess Corazza and Pat Morrissey, and would love to see more tracks like this. You can also hear Manicanparty featured on OnCue's track "Cigarettes and Perfume".

Great Track by Theoretics "Higher"

Since the release of our site we have seen an increasing amount of song submissions, and I cannot believe that I over looked an email by the group Theoretics. The group Theoretics is a Seattle based hip-hop, soul, funk, and electronica group with a unique style that cannot be compared to the typical hip-hop group.

The group fronted by two incredibly talented Emcees (Mark Hoy and Chimaroke Abuachi) draw out so much passion through their lyrics that they are bound to make it big. These guys are packed with energy and have such a flow with their lyrics that makes me wanting more.

The other part of the group consists of a five piece rhythm section that I find to be a key talking point when it comes to Theoretics. They remind me of the band The Roots who always preforms amazing live shows. I can see the same potential looking at Theoretics as I do while looking at the Roots. I am excited to see more and hope they come to tour on the east coast so I can see this group live.

You will definitely be seeing more of Theoretics on this site, be sure to check out their Facebook page to learn more and grab more of their music. For those people out there who know me personally, you know that I am a huge Hoodie Allen fan, and I cannot believe that this is my first post on Hoodie Allen, WOW!

Anyways... Hoodie Allen just took to his Facebook to post a great remix done by Brenton Duvall . The track is Hoodie Allen's song "Moon Bounce"  which is one of my many favorites. To hear more of Hoodie Allen's previous tracks, then head over to his Soundcloud and download every track. Now I know that you will still want to hear more of Hoodie once you hear how talented he is. Well I got some great news for you all. Hoodie Allen will be relaesing a new album called "All American" on April 10th. I cannot tell you how excited I am for this album, its unreal.

Now I realize that the weekend is just about over but I just cannot hold back from sharing this track with you all.

I was recently contacted by AFSHeeN, who sent me his newest track "Words" and this track fits right into the EDM/House/Dance genre. Yes this track is heavy, but it gets the blood pumping. I also realize that the weekend is just about over so take this track to the gym and turn into that meathead lifter in the Planet Fitness commercials who "Lifts things up and put them down"(I laugh so hard every time I watch that commercial)

For those of you interested in AFSHeeN, he is an artist out of LA who likes to switch up his music from Indie to Dance. If he could create a new genre he would call it KYG (Keeps You Guessing). Here are a few words from AFSHeeN himself:

“I like to make music people can connect with on different levels. Not necessarily just the kind of music that makes you jump up and down at the club and moves you on the dance floor. I've been following Chiddy Bang since they first started "Chasing a Dream" back in 2009. This talented duo from Philly have worked together incredibly well since meeting at Drexel University back in 2008. With Chiddy on the vocals and Noah sampling the shit out of everything, these two have made a really good name for themselves. This came out a couple weeks ago so I figure I just pile a bunch of "newish" jams on here and play catch up. The one thing I like best about this song other than Jeezy is a thug and Luda rips it is that there wasn't a single peep from DJ Drama anywhere on the song. He can take the credit for the song and bank just as long as he's not shouting in the background the whole time. Needless to say, this collabo kills it. Stream and download below...

Wiz's new mixtape Taylor Allderdice is dropping tonight at 8. The mixtape name comes from the high school he attended back in Pittsburgh, PA. I really don't know what to expect with this one. I'm sure most of the songs have already leaked like "Mary x3" and "My Favorite Song," but I'm just hoping it's not all main stream and soft like his last album. Another Kush & O.J. type mixtape would definitely be much better. Make sure you check it out above when it drops. I put a few Wiz songs I liked below as well.

 Finally! So yesterday Kid Cudi released a new track "Dose of Dopeness" Cudi has not released much lately, but I must say for the wait....the track does not seem to be at its best. Maybe I just need to absorb it a bit more but it is almost too simple for me. Although that was how I first felt when I listened to Cudi's first album Man On The Moon. So give it a try and let me know what you think. Hopefully we hear more from Cudi in the near future.

The group, Ground Up, made up of Azar (MC), Malakai (MC), Bij Lincs (Producer) has been making some noise lately in the music scene, and they just keep giving us quality tracks that are always available free to download. This past week Ground Up teamed up with Vanessa Winters to create the track "Buried Alive". I personally love this track because Bij Lincs created a beat that gives off that eerie feeling yet Azar and Malakai come in with great flow that makes this track an all-around quality track.
